Dr. Capote is presently involved in research studies including numerous investigations into Alzheimer’s disease, vagal nerve stimulation for treatment resistant depression, and use of Requip for treatment for bipolar depression. At the same time he prides himself on individualized care and attention for his patients.
He is also active in numerous psychiatric and addiction societies, including the American Academy of Neuropsychiatry, American Psychiatric Association, American Society of Addiction Medicine, Cuban American Psychiatric Association to name a few. He has authored numerous publications and abstracts regarding psychiatric illness and addiction. Dr. Capote shares his knowledge by precepting physician assistant students and pharmacology residents, as well as presenting numerous lectures ranging from grand rounds to round table discussions.
Dr. Capote hosts multicultural knowledge with language fluencies in both English and Spanish.

Andrea Laudisio, RPA-C
Graduate of D’Youville College Physician Assistant Program in 2002. NCCPA certified.
Currently a physician assistant at Dent Neurologic joining the practice in 2006, Andrea provides outpatient care, including psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, neuro-psychiatric diagnostics and treatment; sub-specializing in addictions and dementia. She is also involved with clinical research into Alzheimer’s disease as well as bipolar disorder. Andrea also co-precepts physician assistant students from Daemen College. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, New York State Physician Assistant Association and the Western New York Physician Assistant Association.
