Mark Gunther, Ph.D.
Dr. Gunther is a clinical neuropsychologist at DENT and State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo as well as assistant professor of psychiatry and clinical neurology with SUNY at Buffalo.
As a neuropsychologist, he has served a wide range of patient populations including neurodegenerative diseases, seizure disorders, CVA, head injury, AIDS dementia, adult and pediatric neuropsychiatric syndromes, and childhood disorders (e.g., ADHD, learning disability, developmental disabilities, head trauma). His focus also includes neuropsychiatric movement disorders that have cognitive components (e.g., Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, Tourette's syndrome, Wilson's disease) which require systematic neuropsychological evaluation. In addition, he provides psychological consultation for diagnosis and treatment of affective and major psychiatric disorders.
