Tomas Holmlund, M.D.
Attended medical school at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. After completing a neurology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo (where he served as chief resident at the Dent Neurologic Institute) he pursued a neuromuscular and EMG fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Current research addresses neuromuscular disorders, in particular, Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) and peripheral neuropathies. He is principal investigator for national drug trials in ALS. Dr Holmlund is the director for the MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) clinic and a very large Botox program.
