Peter Kovacs, M.D.
Dr. Kovacs graduated "cum laude" and received his MD degree from Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary. After medical school Dr. Kovacs received five years of postgraduate training in neurology in Hungary. After a year of internship in medicine, he was a neurology resident at the University of Buffalo, from 1992-1994. From 1994-1995 Dr. Kovacs completed a Neurology Fellowship at the Dent Neurologic Institute.
Dr. Kovacs is Board Certified in neurology.

Elizabeth D. Smith, MS, CPNP
Elizabeth Smith received her Master of Science and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is board certified in pediatrics through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Her clinical experience includes pediatric and adolescent neurology including seizures and sleep disorders, adolescent headache medicine, general pediatrics and emergency/ urgent care.
Elizabeth joined the DENT in 2007. She is presently involved in general pediatric neurology and adolescent headache medicine. She is involved in research protocols at the DENT for headache treatment.
Areas of interest include: pediatric neurology, seizure treatment, sleep disorders and pediatric and adolescent headache medicine. |
