Mohammad M. Qasaymeh, M.D., M.S.
Dr. Qasaymeh earned his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. Afterward, Dr. Qasaymeh completed a three years residency in pediatrics at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn,
NY. He then completed a three years Pediatric Neurology Fellowship at the
University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), Rochester, NY. During that
time he received the Riley Cerabona Award for best article in “The Clinical
Management of Patients with Cerebral Cavernous Malformations”. In
addition, Dr. Qasaymeh is an author of a chapter in the “5-Minute Pediatric
Consults” book and the author of multiple published articles in pediatric
neurology. Upon graduations, Dr. Qasaymeh joined the pediatric neurology
staff at the URMC as an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics
until he was successfully recruited to the DENT Neurological institutes.
Besides, Dr. Qasaymeh holds a master degree in medical management from
Simon School of Business, a nationally and internationally regarded
business school.

Elizabeth D. Smith, MS, CPNP
Elizabeth Smith received her Master of Science and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the State University of New York at Buffalo…She is board certified in pediatrics through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She received her Adult Nurse Practitioner certification from Daemen College. Her clinical experience includes pediatric, adolescent, and adult neurology including seizures and sleep disorders, headache medicine, general pediatrics, internal medicine and emergency/ urgent care.
Elizabeth joined the DENT in 2007. She is presently involved in pediatric neurology, the DENT Headache Center, and general neurology. She is involved in research protocols at the DENT for headache treatment.
Areas of interest include: pediatric and adolescent neurology, adult neurology, seizure treatment, sleep disorders and headache medicine. |
