Dr. Miza Baig
Dr. Mirza Baig completed his undergraduate studies in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and pursued medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed Neurology residency at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospitals in Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently, Dr. Baig completed dual subspecialty training in the United Council of Neurologic Subspecialties certified programs of Neuroimaging and Headache Medicine at the DENT Neurologic Institute in Amherst, New York.
Dr. Baig has done research on central nervous system toxins through the Neurotoxicology Lab of the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute in New Jersey. Dr. Baig has also co-authored a chapter on Brain Tumors published in Continuum, the journal of The American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Baig’s interests include acute and chronic headache and facial pain, brain concussion and neuroimaging.
