Shereen Alrashdan, M.D.

Dr. Shereen Alrashdan is a board-certified psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience spanning outpatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, and telepsychiatry. She received her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and completed her residency in psychiatry at Metropolitan Hospital Center, a teaching affiliate of New York Medical College, where she was recognized with a Resident Leadership Award in her final year.
Throughout her career, Dr. Alrashdan has demonstrated a commitment to advancing high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care. Her clinical expertise includes the treatment of complex mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions, postpartum depression, and substance use disorders. She also has extensive experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and dual diagnoses.
Dr. Alrashdan provides care for adolescents starting at age 13, as well as adults and geriatric population. She has led specialized programs in Suboxone maintenance and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and has served in supervisory roles overseeing the clinical development of nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Alrashdan has held leadership positions in telepsychiatry organizations, contributing to program development, provider recruitment, and quality improvement initiatives. She maintains active medical licensure in multiple states and remains dedicated to expanding access to mental health care through both in-person and virtual platforms.
