Ways to give back

Our grieving community has been shaken to its core by the horror of what occurred in our city. Now is the time to love each other and be the City of Good Neighbors.

Dent Neurologic Institute will be partnering with Buffalo Center for Health Equities. This program is helping victims’ families, as well as the community overall, including food resources through the church. The money directly goes to those in need.

We will also be collecting non-perishable items at each of our locations and will be bringing them to The First Fruits Food Pantry at Lincoln Memorial United Methodist Church

On May 14, ten people lost their lives during a mass shooting in a Tops Supermarket in Buffalo, New York. Now, people across the country are coming together to offer support for the individuals and families affected. Donate to the verified fundraisers below to help the individuals and families affected by the Buffalo mass shooting.

The Thurman Thomas Family Foundation

The Thurman Thomas Family Foundation is committing to donating $10,000 to efforts that will directly impact the families of the victims and the surrounding community.

"We work to provide the people in the Western New York Community, who are homeless/less fortunate or those who find themselves in need from time to time, with fresh produce, nonperishable food items, and personal care hygiene items free of cost. FeedMore WNY

FeedMore food donations are being accepted Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday noon to 4 p.m. at 91 Holt Street.

Distributions will continue to take place at the Resource Council of WNY from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday, from May 17 through May 25.
